Kyle’s Atlanta

Woodstock - Woodstock is a vibrant town north of Atlanta that’s the perfect place to live, work, and play. It’s received multiple awards from the state for being a well-planned, tight-knit community with a high quality of living.

In the late 1800s, Woodstock was just a small depot village along the railroad from Atlanta to Marietta. Woodstock also has a strong medical heritage, beginning with the fact that the town always had an outstanding doctor, even before the railroad. That bent toward healthcare was one of the reasons the Cherokee Atomedic Hospital, touted as “The Hospital of the Future,” was moved here after the World’s Fair in 1969.

Woodstock is full of many gorgeous single-family homes with all the space you could want and tons of bells and whistles. The majority were built after the 1970s, and there are many new constructions or newly remodeled homes. Living in one of Woodstock’s quiet residential areas comes complete with beautiful rural views, and many subdivisions have community pools, tennis courts, and parks.

Canton - Canton makes its mark north of Atlanta as a cute, urban enclave with endless opportunities and an innovative spirit. With beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Etowah River running through the center of town, it's peaceful and inviting, but it’s also loaded with great shopping and dining that will make you feel like you’re in the heart of the excitement.

The area has been a hub of industry for over a century. A thriving cotton mill sustained the town and its residents in the early 1900s. However, over the last several decades, Canton has quadrupled in size and is a thriving center of finance, healthcare, and business in the region.

Depending on what you’re looking for, there are options to live in the rural areas on the outskirts of town or close to the vibrant downtown area. Farther out, you have sprawling estates and large single-family homes, and closer to the heart of the city, you can find stunning luxury apartments full of amenities. Whatever your lifestyle requires, you can find it in Canton.

Alpharetta - This bustling town just north of Atlanta is full of stores and a plethora of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Modern amenities and ample green space mix in this charmingly hip community. Though its location makes it easy to commute into the city, Alpharetta is far from a bedroom community. In fact, it’s home to so many high-profile tech companies that it has become known as the Technology City of the South.

Alpharetta was a largely agricultural community until the 1980s but has since emerged as one of the country’s most vibrant tech cities. People commute into Alpharetta from the surrounding area to work in the bustling tech sector, and many of the town’s residents also count themselves among that workforce.

Alpharetta is growing quickly in the housing market. With new developments and master-planned communities springing up, it’s easy to find modern single-family homes and townhomes. Luxury condos have also started to rise, and their amenities and proximity to the shopping and dining of Alpharetta make them highly sought-after for those who still want the taste of the bustle even in a more spacious city like Alpharetta.

Roswell - A quaint town with a rich history, Roswell has the best of everything to offer. The small-town feel is paired with a quick commute to Atlanta and access to incredible entertainment, including sports games. You’ll never lack things to do here, the community is friendly, and there’s a ton of gorgeous green space, which is why Roswell has received many accolades as one of the best places to live in the country.

The town was founded around Roswell Manufacturing Company. From there, a mill was built to harness the power of the local rivers to make textiles. There were many ups and downs for this community through the civil war and rebuilding after fires, but it persevered to become the thriving community it is today.

Roswell is diverse and eclectic when it comes to housing. Historic homes mix with new constructions, blending seamlessly together to create a melting pot of architecture. You’ll find everything from large estates to quaint bungalows here. Enjoy the convenience of a townhouse, or find a beautiful single-family home in one of Roswell’s master-planned subdivisions.

Milton - Private neighborhoods and serene green spaces abound in Milton. While it’s a thriving city with a large array of shops and restaurants, it also maintains a rural, small-town feeling. Traffic is always light, and the residential areas are serene. You’ll feel connected to your neighbors and supported by the community in this delightful area.

Though the area has been an agricultural center and rural residential area for decades, the city of Milton didn’t officially exist until 2006, when the residents voted to create the town out of the unincorporated part of Fulton County. Since then, it has grown and prospered while still maintaining its peaceful, small-town charm.

Milton is extremely popular for those seeking the luxurious Southern dream. Along its small country roads, there are many private communities and luxurious estates. Properties here are spacious and serene, and the notable lack of traffic congestion means that you’re never far away from Milton’s many amenities.

Marietta - This hip, modern community is one of Georgia’s most populous cities. Just on the outskirts of Atlanta, it’s full of urban amenities and exciting events. With great shopping and a paradise of delicious dining, Marietta is sure to have something to please everyone. It has a rich history, and its historic architecture and tree-lined streets give it a peaceful, urban feel.

Marietta predates even Atlanta, and it has seen more than its fair share of history since 1834. From devastating fires to Civil War battles to ”The Great Locomotive Chase,” Marietta has a storied past. Through all of this, it’s been resilient and has blossomed into one of the most beautiful and bustling cities in Georgia.

Antebellum homes and classic Craftsman-style homesteads await in the heart of Historic Marietta. However, you really have your pick of styles here because you can find everything from new constructions and expansive mansions to cozy bungalows. It’s all about what type of life you’re looking for in the city.
